Here are answers to some questions I’ve received lately:
How do I submit a Facebook fail?
Simply email your FB screen shot to: fail@facebookfails.com.
What type of file type do you prefer?
I can pretty much accept any image file type — but I prefer .gifs and .jpegs. If I have any trouble viewing your image, I’ll send you an email to let you know.
Who blocks out faces and last names?
I typically blur out names and faces automatically, so you don’t need to do it (unless you want to). However, if it’s your own fail — and you don’t care about showing your real name and picture — I’ll post it just as you’ve sent it. Just let me know.
How can I get a Facebook Fail post removed?
If you are featured in one of our posts (and can be identified) — simply send me an email and let me know. I always make sure to protect people by blurring names and faces.
How can I get updates to your site?
You can either subscribe via RSS, or get updates on your Facebook news stream by becoming a fan of our page at:
http://www.facebook.com/epicfails.
Do you post every submission?
Unfortunately, not all fail submissions are posted on this site.
I think I’ve seen that Facebook screen shot on another blog?
I get dozens of submissions a day – and there’s no way for me to check to see if every submission is original. Please let me know if you’ve seen it somewhere else by sending me an email. I will gladly update the blog post to give proper credit to the first website that posted the image. Thanks.
Why are some names blocked out — and others are not?
If the submission is from a public facebook group or page — and viewable by anyone in Facebook — then it can be made public here too.
